Degree तर तम भाव
जेंव्हा वाक्यातील नामांची किंवा सर्वनामांची तुलना विशेषणाने आणि क्रियांची तुलना क्रियाविशेषणाने केली जाते तेव्हा Degree - तर तम भाव व्यक्त करतात.
Types of Degree
Degree चे तुलना करण्याचे तीन प्रकार आहेत.
1 Positive Degree. – स्थिर भाव
2 Comparative Degree – तर भाव
3 Superlative Degree - तम भाव
विशेषणाची तुलनात्मक रूपे
Degree ची तुलनात्मक वाक्य रचना करताना विशेषनाच्या तीन रूपांचा वापर केला जातो
विशेषणाांच्या तुलनात्मक रूपांविषयी विशेष लक्षात ठेवा.
Positive degree मध्ये विशेषणाचे आणि क्रियाविशेषणाचे मूळ रूप वापरले जाते.
Comparative degree मध्ये विशेषणाला आणि क्रियाविशेषणाला er प्रत्यय लावलेले जाते.
Superlative degree मध्ये विशेषणाला आणि क्रियाविशेषणाला est प्रत्यय लावलेले जाते.
अगदी लहान एकावयवी असलेल्या विशेषणाांच्या बाबतीत मूळ विशेषणाला पुढे 'er' लावून comparative व पुढे 'est' लावून Superlative Degree तयार होतात
Tall - taller - tallest
अनेकावयवी असलेल्या विशेषणाांच्या बाबतीत मात्र मूळ विशेषणापूवी more लावून Comparative Degree आणि most लावून Superlative Degree करतात.
Beautiful - more beautiful - most beautiful
काही शब्दाच्या तुलनात्मक रूपे अनियमितपणे होतात.
Good- better -best.
1 Positive Degree
सम भाव म्हणजे तुलनात्मक सारखेपणा होय. विशेषणाचा किंवा क्रियाविशेषणाचा सारखेपणा दाखवण्यासाठी as adjective as किंवा so adjective as अशी शब्द रचना करतात.
होकारार्थी वाक्ये as adj./adv. as
Dipak is as clever as Hari.
Ramesh is as intelligent as Yogesh.
नकारार्थी वाक्ये so adj. /adv. as
Hari is not so tall as Dipak.
Sachin is not so stronge as Mohan.
Positive तील Very few other as --------as ची रचना
Very few other boys are as clever as Dipak in the class.
वाक्याची सुरुवात Very few other ने करावी,
त्यानंतर अनेकवचनी नाम – boys
त्यानंतर वाक्यायातील क्रियापद – are
वाक्यातील विशेषण as --------as - as clever as
ज्याची तुलना इतरांबरोबर केली आहे ते नाम अथवा सर्वनाम - Dipak
त्याच्यापुढे वाक्यातील राहिलेला इतर भाग लिहावा – in the class.

वाक्याची सुरुवात No other ने करावी,

2. Comparative Degree
विशेषनाचा तर भाव म्हणजे च्या पेक्षा उच्च.
एकाची दुसऱ्या एका बरोबर किंवा अनेकांबरोबर केलेली तुलना अशा वाक्यातील विशेषणाला er प्रत्यय जोडावा लागतो आणि ज्याच्या बरोबर तुलना केलेली असेल त्याला than जोडावे लागते.

Hari is not taller than Dipak.
Sachin is stronger than Mohan.
Ramesh is more intelligent than Yogesh.
Comparative तील (adj) + er than most other ची रचना
Dipak is cleverer than most other boys in the class.
वाक्याची सुरुवात ज्याची तुलना इतरांबरोबर करयची आहे त्या वाक्यातील नामने अथवा सर्वनामने करावी - Dipak
त्यानंतर वाक्यायातील क्रियापद – is
वाक्यातील विशेषण adj + er than – cleverer than
त्यानंतर most other
त्यानंतर अनेकवचनी नाम – boys

एकाची एका बरोबर किंवा अनेक बरोबर केलेली सर्वोत्तम तुलना अशा वाक्यातील विशेषणापूर्वी the वापरावे व विशेषणाला est प्रत्यय जोडावा.

Interchanges of Degrees:
Degrees चे आपापसात बदल करताना मूळ वाक्याचा बदलत नाही. म्हणजेच एकाच अर्थाचे वाक्य तीन प्रकारात व्यक्त करता येते.
मुख्य वाक्याचा अर्थ न बदलता Degree चे वाक्ये बदलने हे करताना मुख्य वाक्यातील शब्दांच्या जागा बदलावी तसेच होकारार्थी व नकारार्थी वाक्ये बनवावी लागतात.
