आपण Wh-Type Questions ची जास्तीत जास्त वाक्याच्या सहाय्याने समजून घेऊ आणि अभ्यास करु.

Wh-Type Question म्हणजे काय?
Wh Type Questions या प्रश्नांची उत्तरे yes or no मध्ये देता येत नाही तर उत्तरात काही माहितीची अपेक्षा असते.
Wh-Type Question कसा तयार करावा?
विधानार्थी वाक्यावरून Wh-Type Question बनवत असताना विधानार्थी वाक्यातील उत्तरची माहिती सांगणाऱ्या शब्दांचा प्रश्नात समावेश करू नये.
वाक्यातील उत्तरची माहितीचा शोध घेणाऱ्या योग्य अशा WH-words प्रश्नार्थक शब्दांनी Wh-Type Question सुरूवात करावी, WH-words लिहिल्या नंतर Auxiliary Verb सहाय्यकरी क्रियापदाचा वापर Yes/No Type Questions मध्ये ज्या प्रमाणे केला जातो त्याप्रमाणे करावा,
WH-words Auxiliary Verb हे एकत्र वाक्याच्या सुरुवातीस येणे आवश्यक आहे,
विधानार्थी वाक्यातील पुढे असलेले शब्द त्यात कर्ता Subject, क्रियापद Verb, Object/other words कर्म अथवा इतर शब्द यांचा समावेश होतो यांपैकी वाक्यातील उत्तराची माहिती सांगणाऱ्या शब्दांचा प्रश्नात समावेश करू नये आणि आवश्यक असलेले ते शब्द लिहावेत.
प्रश्नार्थक वाक्य असल्यामुळे वाक्याच्या शेवटी ? चिन्ह द्यावे.
प्रश्नाची सुरूवात wh - word ने होते. त्यामुळे त्या wh word चे पहिले अक्षर Capital Letter मोठ्या लिपीत लिहावे.
Wh-Type Question च्या Step व Format:
Format:
Wh-Type word + Auxiliary Verb + Subject + Verb + Object/ other words + ?
Step 1: Wh-Type word
Wh - Type Questions अशा प्रकारचे प्रश्न या प्रश्नार्थक शब्दांनी सुरू होतात.
(Who, What, Why, When, Which, Whose, How, Whom, Where, When etc.)
Step 2: Auxiliary Verb - साहाय्यकारी क्रियापदाचे रूप
सहाय्यकरी क्रियापदाचा वापर Yes/No Type or Verbal Questions मध्ये ज्या प्रमाणे केला जातो त्याप्रमाणे करावा.
Step 3: Subject - कर्ता
मूळ वाक्याचा कर्ता Subject नाम Noun किंवा सर्वनाम Pronoun असतो.
Subject कर्ता नेहमी प्रथमा विभक्तीमध्ये असतो. यात Proper Noun असेल तर त्याचे पहिले अक्षर Capital Letter मोठ्या लिपीत येते.
Step 4: Verb – क्रियापद
Yes/No type question वाक्य तयार करताना ज्याप्रमाणे क्रियापदात बदल केला जातो त्याप्रमाणे करावा.
Step 5: Object/ other words - नंतर कर्म/ पूरक व इतर शब्द.
दिलेल्या वाक्यातील Object/other words कर्म अथवा इतर शब्द असतील ते लिहावे.
Step 6:?
प्रश्नार्थक वाक्य असल्यामुळे वाक्याच्या शेवटी ? चिन्ह द्यावे.

Who - कोण? नाम, सर्वनाम वाक्यातील कर्ता शोधण्यासाठी

What - काय? वस्तूचे नाम, सर्वनाम वाक्यातील कर्म शोधण्यासाठी

Which - कोणता? - वस्तू व व्यक्ती साठी

Whose - कोणाचा? - कर्ता किंवा कर्म यांचा संबंध शोधण्यासाठी

1. Whose house is this?
2. Whose flowers are these?
3. Whose umbrella is that?
4. Whose friend are you?
5. Whose will you become?
Where - कोठे? - क्रिया घडत असण्याचे ठिकाण शोधण्यासाठी

4. Where shall we go this evening?
5. Where has your brother gone?
6. Where are you going?
When - केव्हा? क्रिया घडत असण्याची वेळ शोधण्यासाठी

Why - का? - क्रिया घडण्यामागील कारण शोधण्यासाठी

How - कसा? क्रिया घडत असण्याची रित, पध्दत शोधण्यासाठी

How much - किती? संख्येत मोजता न येणारे

Whom - कोणाला? नाम, सर्वनाम वाक्यातील कर्म शोधण्यासाठी

With whom? - कोणाबरोबर / सह?

Of Whom? - कोणा बद्दल?

For whom - कोणासाठी?
1. For whom have you brought this mango?
2. For whom did your father buy this cap?

To whom? - कोणाला/कोणाशी?

विधानार्थी वाक्यावरून Wh-Type Question कसा बनवावा?
परीक्षेमध्ये Wh-Type Question बनवण्यासाठी प्रश्न विचारला जातो, त्यात एक वाक्य दिले जाते त्या वाक्यातील काही भाग अधोरेखित केलेला असतो हा भाग म्हणजे बनवल्या जाणाऱ्या प्रश्नाचे उत्तर असते, अधोरेखित केलेला भाग कोणत्या स्वरूपाचा आहे हे शोधणाऱ्या wh word ची निवड करावी व दिलेल्या वाक्यातील उत्तराची माहिती सांगणाऱ्या शब्दांचा प्रश्नात समावेश करू नये.
